A study is done to compare the wages of day care workers in twostates. The wages are Normally distributed. The following data isavailable:
=25, =13.5, =1.8
=20. =10.6, =1.6
We are testing the null hypothesis that the population means areequal.
We cannot assume that the variances are equal. We havecomputed the degrees of freedom to be 42.
