QUESTION 10 The following two questions refer to this problem: In the year 2326 the space probe Voyager 26 is on a journey to visit the nearby star Relixiv. Since it is in empty space, you can assume there are no gravitational forces or friction forces. The space probe has a mass of 265 kg, and is moving at at speed of 115 m/s. Take the initial direction of motion to be the positive x-axis. Unfortunately, at some point in the journey there is an internal explosion (this means momentum is conserved) and it breaks into three parts. One part has a mass of 125 kg and is moving with a speed of 205 m/s in the positive y direction. The second part has a mass of 45 kg and moves at a speed of 55 m/s in the negative x direction. By conservation of mass, the third part has has a mass of 95 kg. What is the speed of the third part?
QUESTION 11 What is the direction angle of the third part? Your answer should be a negative angle, which means an angle measured clockwise from the positive x- axis (i.e., "below" the x-axis).
