It passes through the block of wood, and emerges with a speed of 100 m/s. The wood block sits on a frictionless surface, and immediately after the collision, you measure its speed to be 0.95 m/s. What was the mass of the block of wood? You can ignore any reduction in mass due to the bullet passing through the block of wood.
