A pendulum consists of a rod of mass mrod = 1.2 kg, length L =0.8 m, and a small and dense object of mass m = 0.4 kg, as shownbelow. The rod is released from the vertical position. Determinethe tension in the rod at the contact point with the sphere whenthe rod is parallel with the horizontal plane. Neglect friction, consider the moment of inertia of the small object I = m*L2, andg=9.80 m/s2
a. T = 7.4 N
b. T = 9.8 N
c. T = 15.7 N
d. T = 18.3 N
