Question 6 Not yet answered Marked out of 35.00 Flag question Networking Design A company has 4 branches (LANS) connected through a router. As a network expert you are required to design the IP configuration of these branches in three scenarios: a) Scenario one: If you have been given 4 Class C IP addresses, i.e. one for each branch, what is the maximum number of devices (hosts) per each branch? Note that the first usable host address is typically reversed as a gateway address. (4 marks) b) Scenario two: If you have been given only the IP 200.75.64.0/25. Use subnetting technique distribute the IP's in a table showing the Subnet IP, usable host range (excluding the gateway address), the gateway address, the broadcast address and the subnet mask for each subnet. Show all your calculation/design steps. (25 marks) c) Scenario three: If each branch is designed to have up to 4 staff members. Each one of them will have only one device. You have been informed that the number of branches may increase in the future. Using the same given IP in part b, improve your design to maximize the number of branches (note that the branches should be connected through routers).. In your new design, calculate the maximum number of branches and the maximum number of the total allowed staff members in each branch. Show all your calculations/design steps in your answer. (6 marks)
