5. For a simple R-134a refrigeration system, condenser temperature is 35°C, evaporator temperature is -10°C, compressor discharge temperature is 48°C and mass flow rate of refrigerant is 6 kg/min. Show the cycle on T-s and p-h diagrams, and find (a) COP of the cycle, (b) vapor quality at evaporator inlet, (c) evaporator inlet entropy, (d) compressor isentropic efficiency, (e) refrigerating capacity and (f) compressor work, in kW. Assume average specific heat capacity in the vapour region as, Cpg = 1.10 kJ/kgK. [5] Properties for R-134a: [At -10°C: hr = 186.70 kJ/kg, hg = 392.40 kJ/kg, sf = 0.9512 kJ/kgK, sg = 1.733 kJ/kgK; At 35°C: hr = 249.10kJ/kg, hg = 417.60 kJ/kg, sg 1.715 kJ/kgK]
