Water at 15°C (p = 999.1 kg/m³ and µ = 1.138 × 10-³ kg/m·s) is pumped from the reservoir (ZA = 2 m) to another reservoir at a low altitude elevation (zB = 9 m) through two plastic pipes with ε = 0 m along 25 m connected in parallel. The diameter of both pipes is 3 cm and 5 cm. Water must be pumped by a motor pumping unit that has an efficiency of 68% and uses an electrical power of 8 kW during operation. Minor losses in pipes connecting parallel pipes to two reservoirs are considered negligible. Determine the flow rate through each parallel pipe if the total flow rate between reservoirs is 0.01861 m³/s.
