A 480/0⁰ VAC wye-connected generator supplies a balanceddelta-connected load. Load impedance is 15 + j10 Ω perphase, line impedance is 1 + j2 Ω per line, calculate thecurrent in the phase of the load. [Converting the delta load to anequivalent wye load with no neutral connection, the phase impedanceof the equivalent wye load is 1/3 the phase impedance of the deltaload as in Problem 1c., above. The equivalent phase voltage in theload is 480/√3/-30⁰ . Then
Iphase =Vphase/(Zphase+ Zline) = 34.5/-71.6⁰ A
