A 200 KVA, 1100/110 V, single-phase transformer is used to servea school. The following were data obtained during the tests:
OC: 1100 V 0.7 A 1050 W
SC: 140 V 182 A 1950 W
a. Calculate the efficiency at full-load and the maximumefficiency both at 0.8 power factor lagging.
b. Calculate the efficiency at 200 KW loading, 0.7 power factorlagging.
c. Calculate the % VR at 150-KVA loading, 0.9 leading powerfactor.
d. Calculate the % VR at 3/4th loading, 0.7 lagging powerfactor.
e. Calculate the ADE for the following load:
Full load 0.8 6 hours
10% underload 0.9 4 hours
120 KW load 0.6 5 hours
10% Overload 0.5 5 hours
150 KVA load 0.7 2 hours
