= A sinusoidal message signal, whose frequency is less than 1000 Hz, modulates the carrier c(t) 10-3 cos 2π fet. The modulation scheme is conventional AM and the modulation index is 0.5. The No 2 channel noise is additive white noise with a power spectral density of 10-¹2 W/Hz. At the receiver, the signal is processed, as shown in Figure figure 1. (a). The frequency response of the of the bandpass noise-limiting filter is shown in figure 1. (b). Received signal Bandpass noise- limiting filter -fc 2 cos 2π fet (a) H(f) Ideal LPF BW=1000 Hz fc-1500 fe = -($). 0 fe + 1500 (b) Figure 1. Question question 12 . (1) Find the signal power and the noise power at the output of the noise-limiting filter.
