Consider a power amplifier that shows the highest output powerwhen it is terminated by a load resistance of 5 Ω. The poweramplifier needs to be connected using a matching circuit to a 50 Ωantenna. Design a two-element lumped matching circuit operating at1 GHz to match from the low impedance of 5 Ω to the antennaimpedance. Use a shunt C and series L to match from load to source.What is the value of C? (in pF), What is the value of L? (innH).
