In the image, it shows a stained SDS polyacrylamide gel with asingle band of the polypeptide (LSEDHYSEDRFMVILSV) in lane 1,which has 1 band. Lane 2, which has 3 bands, shows the samepolypeptide after it was cleaved with a chymotrypsin protease. Eachband in lane 2 corresponds to a polypeptide fragment after cleavagewith chymotrypsin. Is lane 2 accurate for what you would expect forthe number of fragments seen after cleavage? Explain yourreasoning.
