Write the energy balance and cancel negligible terms. b. Choose a reference state phase, temperature, and pressure for each species. c. Construct a table with columns for inlet and outlet stream component flow rates (ni) and specific enthalpies (Ĥ₁ ) relative to reference states d. Draw an enthalpy path and label it for each Ĥ; in your table. Calculate Ĥ; and insert the values in table. e. Solve for AH. Solve the energy balance for the unknown AC duty ( Q + W₂) in kW.
