Using a waste factor of 8 percent, determine the number of cubic yards of concrete needed to pour the continuous footings shown in Figures 1. Assume that the one ft. thick wall is centered over the footing & extends one ft. above the backfill. Soil cut is 45 degree & extends one ft. beyond the edge of the footing in Fig 2.
