.A furnace wall is made up of 3 layers of thicknesses 355mm,115mm and 175mm respectively. The inside is exposed to gases at1350oC with a convection co-efficient of 25.5 W/m2K and the insidesurface is at 1050 oC, the outside surface is exposed to air at 23oC with a convection coefficient of 11 W/m2K. Determine the thermalconductivity of the middle layer, heat transferred per unit areaand interface temperatures. The thermal conductivities of the innerand outer layers are Inner Conductivity 2 W/m , outerConductivity 8.25 W/mK
