A pendulum with two point masse (one at the suspension and one at the end of the massless rod). At the mass at the suspension is also a spring connected (See drawing). (masses m₁ = m₂ = m, rest postion r, spring constant k, deflection angle , lenght of the massless rod () 1) The equations of motion in matrix form are: Mä+Kq=0 with q= (x-xo, 1(-40)) k (To simply: use definition the = m aw and/= Bw where wo is an arbitrarily chosen reference frequency) 2) Determine the natural frequency Determine the natural frequencies and the associated natural ocillation for a = 6 and 3 = 4
