The following figure shows three helical curves on corresponding cylindrical surfaces. The profiles of the cylindrical surfaces are straight, convex and concave (a = 1.0, 1.5 and 0.5), respectively. The maximum diameter (that occurs at the bottom) of the surface is 64 mm. The minimum diameter (that is at the top) is 28 mm. The height of the surface is 25 mm. The helical curves have a constant pitch and 3 turns. Use MATLAB to model the above three integrated curves and surfaces.
