An overloaded elevator has a total mass of 1015 kg. Despite offriction force upward with magnitude of 13, 000N and tension, theelevator is moving with constant speed of 91 m/s. At the bottom ofthe shaft is a cushioning spring which is then compressed for 3m tostop the elevator. Find the force constant of the spring.
