During polarization experiment, the plane of polarization is rotated using Half Wave Plate (HWP) if initially, light is perpendicularly polarized. Explain the procedure with respect to output intensity and state of polarization. Q-W. Più (25) If Half wave plate is replaced with Quarter Wave Plate (QWP) then find the output intensity and state of polarization. In both experiments use different angles of HWP and QWP.
