Question)
A copper cable with a length of 1.00 m starts to conduct a current of 5.00 A when it is connected to a 4.50 V de source. Given that resistivity of the copper, Pcopper = 1.68 x 10-8 Q m. (a) Calculate the resistance of the copper wire. (b) Find the diameter of the copper wire. (c) It is found that the current in the copper wire drops to 4.40 A when its temperature rises by 35.0 °C. The de source remains unchanged. Calculate the temperature coefficient of copper.
