Problem 2) A 100 kip factored load is applied 10 feet from the left end of a 32 foot long simply supported beam. The beam is laterally supported at the ends only. Use A992 steel and select the lightest wide flange that can be used. You can assume that shear, web crippling, buckling, etc. is not a problem.
