You decide to let it go, believing the pharmacist will catch the mistake. Unfortunately, the pharmacist checks the prescription hurriedly, trusting that the technician did the job correctly, and the prescription goes home with the patient. . What should you have done to prevent this medication error? . Whose fault is it that the prescription was dispensed this way? . What can you do to remedy the situation before the patient is harmed by your mistake? Instructions: 1.
