Territoriality is a set of behaviors that people display toshow that they “own” or have the right to control the use of aparticular geographic area, and territoriality can includenonverbal markers. Consider our Canvas course shell, in what waysdo you see territoriality taking place by students? By theinstructor? What nonverbal markers are used? What is beingcommunicated? Suggest one change you would make to Canvas softwareto allow more territoriality-- and thus more ownership-- of theclass by students.
