One of the beauties of Shariah is that it is suitable for all times and places. Moreover, Shariah is neither against technological advancement and its tools nor a new fed in interpreting the texts of Sharish as long as they don't contradict its established rules and principles. However, in reality, we face serions challenges due to the application of technological advancement as well as knowing the boundaries of ind. In light of this, analyze and discuss the following situation: b) According to some contemporary Muslim scholars, the established rules and principles of inheritance where a female's share is only half of a male's share should be revised and amended according to our contemporary times. They argue that in previous times females generally used to be housewives, while males carried all the financial responsibilities. Therefore, allocating half of the male's share, in those days, was quite justifiable. However, in contemporary times, females' employment rate is not less than males' employment. Accordingly, males and females should get equally divided shares of inheritance. Based on your knowledge of inheritance, how would you respond to the above arguments?
