Consider the following information: Part of the role of your
quality engineering team is to ensure the machines being used to
manufacture the basketballs are in good working order to avoid
production of non-conforming basketballs. To do this, your team has
decided to monitor the number of non-conforming basketballs
produced in a given hour. The team collected observations for 40
consecutive hours. These data are contained in Sheet2 of your Excel
spreadsheet. With these data, I want you to:
8. Read Sheet2 into R (HINT: change the default argument sheet =
NULL to sheet = 2 in the read_xlsx function).
9. Calculate the mean number of non-conforming basketballs
produced per hour.
