In an article entitled "A Study on Serum Lipid Profiles in Normal and Patients with Cardiovascular Diseases Serum HDL-Colesterol". (Korean Circulation Journal, 1981). serum levels of HDL-cholesterol, triglyceride and total cholesterol were measured in 250 normal Korean (meaning Koreans not being treated for hypertension, coronary heart disease, cerebral thrombosis, nephrotic syndrome, or diabetes mellitus).
