1. For the following differential equation: y" +9y=0 do the following: a. Find the solution using any appropriate method from earlier this semester. b. Find power series centered at 0 for each of the solutions found in part a. You do not have to derive the power series. Use your Calc II notes/Google to find a related series and use substitution. C. Find a power series solution centered at x0 = 0. Your answer MUST include the recurrence relation and at least 4 non-zero terms of EACH individual solution. You do NOT need to find a general formula for the coefficients of the nth term. d. Compare the power series found in parts b and c. The may not look the same, but you must explain how they are the same. Be specific.
