3. In a series RC circuit, the resistor has a value of 20.0 k , the capacitor has a capacitance of 10 nF, and they are connected to a 20.0 V source. (a) Determine the time constant t (b) The circuit it has been connected for a long period of time and at t=0 it is disconnected from the voltage, leaving only the capacitor and resistor connected in series. Determine the time it takes for the capacitor to discharge to 30% of its initial value. See image below
