A 0.4 kg box is at rest on an incline. It is a vertical heightof 1.25 m above the floor. It slides 2.75 m down the incline, whichhas a coefficient of friction of μ=0.3

a) Draw a free body diagram for the box while it is on theramp.
b) Use Newton’s 2nd Law to find the acceleration of the boxwhile it is on the ramp.
c) Use conservation of energy to find the speed of the box whenit has reached the bottom of the ramp.
d) The box then slides 1.0 m across a frictionless floor, andreaches a spring with constantk = 40 N/m. How far will the spring compress before the blockstops momentarily?
1.25 m 0.4 kg 2.75 m μ = 0.3 27° 1.0 m Frictionless (!!!!!) k=40 N/m
