2. Kimi works as a sales executive in a small company owned by Datin Meena. He is the only male employee in the firm while the others are all female employees. Kimi was asked by Datin Meena to check and clean the air conditioner unit in the main office that was not working properly. While doing so Kimi was seriously injured by electric shock when he opened the cover of the air conditioner unit. Investigation revealed that the shock was caused by improper wiring in the office. Datin Meena admitted that she simply look-up for the cheapest wiring service available on Mudah.my when renovating the office and did not verify whether the electricians that she hired are certified to work. Nevertheless, she argues that there has never been any problem with the electricity before this and Kimi should have been more careful. Kimi however claims that Datin Meena is negligent and wants to sue her. Discuss whether he would be successful. (9 Marks)
