Please help me write the review Business proposal byreading the bullet points below! In thissection was documented by the Systems Analyst and the Client(LARGA Manager). However, as a Systems Designer, you mayfind some details are still missing. Feel free to write shortquestionnaire (no more than 5 questions) to gather further detailsabout the business.
- When LARGA agents receive new artwork photos from artists, they need to submit them for appraisal to one of the externalartwork experts. However, each agent must perform a preliminaryvalidation to guarantee whether enough information is availabledescribing each artwork (artist contact, artwork type, and a shortdescription) and whether the quality of pictures fits the minimumrequired standards. New artwork can be rejected before being submitfor appraisal in case of insufficient information or poor qualityof pictures is detected. At least 3 high quality pictures arerequired.
- One important step before submitting new artwork for appraisalrefers to the estimated price given by the artist. Whenever newartwork has artist's estimate under $100, appraisal can only berequested upon approval of the LARGA manager. Manager can alsoreject new artwork due to low price.
- The LARGA agent is then finally allowed to submit new artworkfor appraisal. A report is then prepared with the basic informationregarding the artwork (except artist identification and contactdetails). Then, all valid pictures are attached to this report, andthe report is sent to the specialist, as a request to appraiseit.
- The LARGA agent will then receive the final appraisal reportfrom the specialist and must make the final decision whether toaccept that artwork to be included in the catalog. If the resultingappraisal has more than 25% difference comparing to the estimatedprice given by the artist (more or less), then another approval isrequired from the LARGA manager, who can again reject new artworkdue to low price. Alternatively, the manager can require the agentto request a second appraisal.
- Either with the first appraisal approved by the manager orhaving two appraisal reports considered (if the average appraisedvalue is within +/- 25% difference comparing to the artist givenprice), the artwork can be approved. Agent will then inform themanager a new artwork is ready to be included in the catalog andwill also notify the artist with the confirmed appraisedprice.
- In case of the new artwork being rejected for any reason, theLARGA agent must sent back to the artist all the picturessubmitted, and a short report explaining the reason for the newartwork to be rejected.
SYSTEM VISION DOCUMENT
Based on the “RMO—Tradeshow System” example in Chapter 1, youMUST provide a “System Vision Document” for LARGA (min 1 page, max2 pages).
Usually, this document is created undertaking efforts andaligning ideas/requirements between Systems Analyst/Designer andClient. As LARGA is just a fictional business example, you will NOTbe able to meet the Client, so you will be just drafting the SystemVision, which MUST including:
Problem Description: identify possible problems that occur inthe current business proposal regarding the overall process ofmanaging new artwork.
System Capabilities: describe 5 to 10 capabilities that thesystem to be designed must have, that are different from the waythe current business handles those same aspects.
Business Benefits: for each of the previous system capabilitiesabove, describe the benefits to the business if those changes areimplemented in the proposed system, comparing to the current“manual” process.
USE CASE DIAGRAM
Use diagrams.net to produce a first version of the Use CaseDiagram that will support the overall system design process. Thisdraft does NOT need to be fully correct (it’s just version 1).However, I would like to see the correct elements in this diagram, and adoption of standard naming conventions for both actors(singular nouns) and use cases (verbs).
COPY + PASTE your diagram here as an image – in addition, attachyour DRAWIO file to your submission
Describe each use case in your diagram providing the goal ofeach one – a goal is about what you (as an actor) want toaccomplish (as a task). A goal also represents a new “status” /“state” in your system after the Use Case is completed.
