If (H2) enters a compressor at 300K and 100Kpa at avolumetric flow of 1.5 m^3/s entering at a speed 100 m/s. if thehydrogen is compressed so that it its temperature when it comes outis 380k and the speed is 20 m/s. Assuming SSSF
a) what is the mass flow rate of the (H2) through thecompressor in kg/s ?
b) What is the diameter of the inlet port if it is a circularcross-section in cm?
c) what is the change in specific enthalpy(h2-h1) from inlet to outlet inKJ/Kg?
d) what is the change in specific kinetic energy from inlet tooutlet in KJ/Kg?
e) What is the power input to the compressor in KW. (State allassumptions for parts a-e)
If H2 Enters A Compressor At 300k And 100kpa At A Volumetric Flow Of 1 5 M 3 S Entering At A Speed 100 M S If The Hyd 1
If H2 Enters A Compressor At 300k And 100kpa At A Volumetric Flow Of 1 5 M 3 S Entering At A Speed 100 M S If The Hyd 1 (29.96 KiB) Viewed 13 times
Inlet: H₂ gas 100 m/s, 1.5 m³/s 300 K, 100 kPa Compressor Outlet: H₂ gas 20 m/s, 380 K
