Tension is maintained in a string as in the figure below. Theobserved wave speed is v = 22.0 m/swhen the suspended mass is m = 3.00 kg. (You mayassume that the length of the vertical portion of the string isnegligible compared to the length of the string.)
A string hangs over a pulley attached to the right end of atable. The left end of the string is attached to a wall, and thestring to the left of the pulley is horizontal. The string goesover the pulley and hangs vertically down, and at its bottom end isa suspended mass m.
