A 27-year-old male with a history of GERD and GeneralizedAnxiety Disorder has been to the hospital 18 times this year forupper abdominal pain. He mentioned that his abdominal pain has norelationship to his diet, and he has lost 30 pounds this year dueto the pain. Every time the doctor requested the patient get anupper endoscopy and H. Pylori breath test, the patient refusedsaying they can't afford it and just wanted relief from the pain.The patient denied hemoptysis and hematochezia. Vital signs are allwithin normal limits.
