The COVID vaccine roll out has not gone exactly as expected according to the CDC. While many people have gotten vaccinated and have even received one or even two boosters, there are still some holdouts. People have COVID vaccine fatigue and even those who support vaccine mandates have suggested that there not be a mandate any longer. 1) Explain Kant's deontological argument and apply it to the growing number of anti- vaxxers who feel like their rights are being violated by the efforts of the federal government to mandate mask wearing and require vaccinations for employment. Is this the proper use of this ethical theory? Are anti-vaxxers correct in their understanding of the COVID roll out effort? How can you convince them otherwise?
