4. In Young's double-slit interference it was considered that the coherent source is loca- ted equidistant from the two slits, so that the intensities coming out of each slit for interference effects are equal, whose expression is I = 410 cos² (™) if the source is in another non-symmetrical position of the slits, then the intensities coming out of the slits are different. Under these conditions the interference is given in the form 1 = 1₂ + 1₂ +2√√1₁1₂ cos d where delta is the usual phase difference. The initial phases of the fields in the slit are assumed to be equal. a) If the source is in a symmetrical position of the slits and the separation between them is 0.1 mm apart, it is observed that the separation between two consecutive interference fringes is 3.0 mm, being on the screen at the distance of 5.0 m from the plane of the slits. Find the wavelength of the light not emitted by the source. b) when moving the source to a non-symmetric point of the slits, it is observed that the intensity through one of the slits is 3/4 of the other. In these conditions, how are the maximum and minimum of the interference compared to part a), as well as the separation between the independence fringes
