1. Automation is a key part of the processes of the company. It is used throughout the company in every department as much as possible. This includes performance marketing. One of the parts of the automation has been applied in the creation of the Pay per click campaigns. After initial runs of campaigns and keyword research, we noticed patterns in the keywords that we were creating. As an example, for concert campaigns, we saw searches like "Lady Gaga", "Lady Gaga Tickets", "Lady Gaga Concert Tickets", "Madonna Tour", "Elton John Tickets", "Beyonce tickets", and "Bruce Springsteen Wembley" were among the top-performing keywords of their respective campaigns. To automate the keyword creation, we aggregated the search queries with better performance (clicks, impressions, CTR, CVR) and decided to create a template that will be used to create new keywords for new campaigns. Following the example, a template based on the search queries we mentioned above would be ArtistName Variable Artist Name Variable Tour ArtistName Variable Tickets ArtistName Variable Concert Tickets ArtistName Variable VenueName Following the example, once we had those keywords templated, we would create the keywords for the Coldplay and Bad Bunny campaigns as follows. We tested this method of creating keywords and ads for campaigns and we have seen it has worked very well. Now we can create campaigns for any artist in our database with a program that the developers have engineered. It takes the template and the data stored in the database for the artist and it creates the keywords and ads we need. Now, we decided that we want to do the same but for other types of events. We know the system works but the variables will be different, and we need a process to be able to define these variables and the potential templated keywords. Question 1: We have data from the search queries for campaigns that we had for Sports. Looking at the data can you define a process we should do to create a new template or templates for Sports? Data in apendix1. (The data is just a sample. Assume there are many more rows in total). We want to be able to measure what percentage of the traffic we should expect with the new template. The new template should capture most of the traffic we got from the search terms matching exactly (80% or higher). How would you measure that and be confident that the template will capture that amount?
