The first submission for your project requires you to completethe following items:
SUBSECTION 1A – COMPANY OVERVIEW, TRAINING TOPIC/SUBJECT, COURSEDESCRIPTION
In one short paragraph (3-4 sentences), introduce your companyby describing what its business focus is and how many employeesthere are. Identify which training topic you selected and whatspecific subject area your training session will focus on.
Develop a brief course description. Managers often refer to acourse catalogue (internal or external) to determine which coursesare available, who should attend and what trainees will learn. In ashort, single paragraph, describe your course. You will decide whatthe training need is and who should attend.

SUBSECTION 1B – TRAINING SESSION PLANNING NOTES
Based on your readings make planning notes on “How toDesign a Course” for at least five (5) topic areas such as:content; methods; timing; active practice; task sequencing;feedback; active learning; learning environment; conditions ofpractice; etc.
SUBSECTION 1C – COURSE OUTLINE / MODULE TITLES / TIMEALLOCATIONS
Based on your planning notes, begin to develop the outline ofyour training session.
Your training day is limited to a maximum of 8 hours (includingany breaks) and it is recommended that you limit your trainingmodules to 3 in the morning and 3 in the afternoon.
Each module should include a 1-2 line description and the timebeing allocated to each module. Think about:
It should be easy for the reader to determine if the modulesthat you are presenting will cover topics that will meet theirneeds and in the depth they are looking for
Include modules for the introduction and conclusion and allrequired breaks
The timing of each module should make sense; you only have oneday (8 hours) so you may need to limit what you talk about. Don’ttry to fit it all in.

Interviews Gone Wrong (Video &Quiz)
Participants will watch a short humorous video clip depictingpoorly executed job interviews. Link: Interviews Gone Wrong videoA short quiz will follow to identify specific errors made in thevideo. Trainees will demonstrate their current awareness of poor interviewtechniques by individually creating a written list of fiveinterview errors depicted in the video clip.
SUBSECTION 1D – DEVELOPMENT OF COMPLETE TRAINING OBJECTIVES
