A 110kV line of 40km length is protected by impedance relay. The first stage of distance relay protects 85% of the line. The line has the impedance of Z₁-0.24+J0.45 ohm/km, CT ratio 300/1A, PT ratio 100kV/100V Calculate the setting of impedance relay and hence draw the characteristic of the relay on RX plane. Neglect the influence of arc resistance.
