Instructions: Written Assignment - Asmt4 A Applying Social Psychology to Everyday Life Your task is to find everyday sources that illustrate specific social psychological concepts from Chapter 12 (SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGY). You can use articles, editorials, advertisements, advice columns, photographs, cartoons, book excerpts, and song lyrics, etc. I do NOT want academic journal articles! (you will get NO credit if you use journal articles) You must find examples of TWO different concepts. Label each source and concept and for EACH one: 1. Copy and paste your source (the article, the picture, the song lyrics, the ad, etc etc) at the beginning of your post. Do NOT just paste a link- the entire source must be copied into the document. (-10 if entire source not in document). All links included must also be LIVE links (click and they open). • You must have different types of sources (.e., you cannot have 2 videos, or 2 cartoons, or 2 articles)- use a different type of source for each of the 2 concepts. (-10 if all the same) 2. Type the reference in APA format for each source directly before or after each source. (-5 if no references or-5 if not APA) 3. Explain what specific topic from Chapter 12 (Social Psychology) that each source is related to and how, i.e. This source shows "blank concept because "your explanation." Your explanations should be complete, clear, concise and thorough, and supported by cited information from the text. Psychology is about humans and, although we can draw analogies to animals, I would like you to apply these concepts to people. You may, however, use cartoons that are displaying animals "as if they are humans (i.e., The Backyardigans are hippos, but act ako human children.) You cannot use any source that is teaching the concept. You are already learning about the concept from the textbook, you need an everyday source where you see that concept being illustrated.
