2. Design a suitable wire rope from 6 x 19 type to lift a maximum load of 10 kN from a well which is 75 m deep. The weight of the bucket is 100 kg. Maximum lifting speed is 10 m/sec which is attained in 5 seconds. Drum diameter is 30 times the rope diameter and factor of safety is 6. Assume an initial slack of 22.5 cm. Tensile strength of the rope is 1900 MPa.
