Answer the questions according to the following structures.
Part A - What are the formal charges of the atoms in structure (a) from left to right respectively.
Assign formal charges from left to right repectively, starting with C and ending with N.
Structure A is CH2N2
there is a double bond between the first C and N and the a double bound between the 2 N atoms. the last N atom has 2 lone pairs
and structure B is
CH2N2 the is a single bond between the first N and the C. The first N has one lone pair and there is also a double bond between the two N. The last N has 2 lone pairs. All Hydrogen have single bonds.
A 2.60 gg sample of a substance is warmed to 71.9 ∘C∘C and submerged into 15.1 gg of water initially at 24.6 ∘C∘C. The final temperature of the mixture is 26.2 ∘C∘C. (Specific heat of water is 4.184 J/g ˚C)
Part A
What is the specific heat capacity of the substance?
Express your answer using two significant figures.
