Your workgroup is composed of two women and five men. The twowomen have brought up a problem to the group: They feel that themen are dominating the group process and, more importantly, thedecision-making. Three of the five men tell you privately that thewomen are "taking advantage of being women" to gain power, and oneeven confides in you that he considers the women "bitches." Youknow that the women are right and that they are following theethical group process by bringing up the issue to the group, ratherthan running to the boss. You feel, however, that you mightjeopardise your own reputation (and future with the company) bysupporting them, especially since the corporation is dominated bymen.
