Soalan 2/ Question 2 a) Susuk halaju suatu bendalir dengan kelikatan 0.85 kg/ms beralir secara lamina di dalam paip berdiameter 20 cm, boleh digambarkan dengan persamaan parabola V=ay2+by. Pada garis tengah paip, halaju (V) adalah 80 cm/s. Plotkan susuk halaju bendalir dari dinding paip sehingga garis tengah paip (i.e. mercu). Seterusnya tentukan kecerunan halaju serta tegasan ricih pada jarak 5 cm dari dinding paip. Keadaan sempadan diberi adalah: At y=0 cm, V=0 At y= 10 cm, dv/dy=0 The velocity profile of a fluid, with a viscosity of 0.85 kg/ms in a laminar flow inside a pipe of 20 cm diameter, can be expressed by a parabolic equation of V-oy+by. At the centreline of the pipe, the velocity (V) is 80 cm/s. Plot the velocity profile of the fluid from the pipe wall to the centreline of the pipe (i.e. vertex). Further determine the velocity gradient and shear stress at a distance of 5 cm from the pipe wall. Given boundary conditions are: At y=0, V=0 At y= 10 cm, dv/dy=0 (8 Markah/ marks]
