A 200-mm wide, annealed copper strip with 25-mm thickness is fed through a rolling mill with two identical rollers, each 400 mm in diameter. The workpiece thickness is to be reduced to 22 mm in one pass at a roll speed of 50 rev/min. The annealed copper has a K value of 315 MPa and an n value of 0.54. The frictional coefficient between the rolls and the workpiece is assumed to be 0.15.
