(10 marks) (b) An internal frequency compensated operational-amplifier (op-amp) has a break off frequency (fpot) of 10 Hz with an open-loop voltage gain of Avoi = 100 dB. You have been asked to use this op-amp to design a biomedical application for which frequencies up to 10 kHz are encountered and requires a constant gain in this range. For such a design, calculate: (i) What is the value of the unity gain frequency for this op-amp. (3 marks) (ii) The maximum closed-loop voltage gain (Aa) which will be achieved by the op- amp in this design (6 marks) (ii) Explain your answer with the aid of an appropriate diagram showing the frequency vs. op-amp gain and confirm the -20 dB/decade roll-off rate.
