Unit 2 : F2 = 120
+ 6 P2 + 0.04
P22 $/h
Unit 3 :
F3 = 100 + 2 P3 + 0.06
P32 $/h
Where Fn is the n-th unit fuel cost in $ per hour
Pn is the n-th unit output power in megawatts
Determine the economic loading of each unit if the load power
is:
(1). 400 MW
(2). 500 MW
(3). 600 MW
