Cybersecurity is the protection of connected devices and other
information systems from cyber threats and other authorized
activities. Medical devices will require specific connections to
each other, and these connections require the FDA to be more aware
of the cybersecurity risks patience may experience from the devices
that connect to each such as (pacemakers, neurostimulation.)
FDA is dedicated to ensuring that medical devices are protected
from hackers or other cyber security threats that could compromise
the safety of devices. They work closely with several federal
governments agencies to increase the security and to address
vulnerabilities of these medical device types.
FDA does attempt to unify organizations by providing encouraging

guideline will these professionals ignore the guidelines
altogether.
According to BlobMD, the top biggest threats in 2022 would be

component, malicious code, third–party cybersecurity, sensors,
embedded devices, data-sharing in the cloud, and more. Are all of
these addressed enough by the FDA?
