Expanding on instructions Dietary factors and disease risk Heart disease - high fat high saturated fat, high sodium, high calories (obesity), low fiber, high cholesterol Cancer-high fat, high saturated fat, smoked/cured meats, low antioxidants, low fiber Type 2 Diabetes - obesity Osteoporosis - low calcium, low vitamin D Hypertension high sodium, low potassium, low magnesium, low calcium Obesity-high calories Consider other lifestyle risk factors also such as sedentary lifestyle, heavy alcohol, smoking You should pick a chronic disease that you are concerned about due to your genetics. Then, look at your diet and lifestyle and suggests what changes you can make to lower your risk. You can't change your genetics but you can change many other risk factors to lower your overall risk.
