A. Freering point depression Concridering this experiment. In a 0.4L container, put some crushed ice. Take the temperature while letting other ice to melt. Don't forget to record the temp. of ice. Prepare twenty percent of CHqN20 or urea (0.002 kg area in 0.008 kg of distilled water. Put the solution in a container that is hardglass then put this in the first container w/ crushed ice. At interval of thirty secs, get the temp. of the solution of area. When the freezing point is reached, the temp, will decrease. Until three consecutive readings are the same, continue recording the temp. Record this as the FP (Fredring Point) of solution. Given the data & results. Calculate the ff. * some values are given I. Weight of CH4 N20 g to FP means freezing point to Weight of H₂O -g * It FP of ice 0°C + PP of CH4 N₂0 -8°C II. Molecular weight of CH4N20 (calculated) I. Bo Boiling point elevation In the flask, boil 0.052 of H₂O w/ a small fome then record the turp. In another flase, dessobre 0.00283 kg of CHqN20 in 0.01 kg H2O.
